When working on projects involving different company sites or countries, it is often difficult to discuss and evaluate design proofs printed in different locations. This is when AVA Quality Assurance Pro (AVA QA Pro) is the missing link in your discussion.
AVA QA Pro is a centralised database which remotely stores and retrieves the settings used to print proofs from AVA such as profile, overprinting settings, substrate, colour information, etc., as well as reflectance data for key colours and/ or points in the design. When your company purchase AVA QA Pro, a specific database is created and the proofs are stored for an unlimited period (AVA QA is accessible by all AVA Colour users but only stores the proof information for a month).
Each proof is remotely validated by reading in target chips with a spectrophotometer. Prior to use of the proofs, these readings are uploaded to the central database either by typing the reference number or scanning the barcode (with a webcam like iSight). Depending on the results obtained, each printed proof receives a pass or fail notification. Verified proofs can be used for design development discussions or by printers as contract proofs in the certainty that they match the digital standard or master for the design within objectively defined tolerances set by the system administrator.
AVA QA Pro creates a real competitive advantage for your company by making the use of remotely generated digital samples and contract proofs risk free. As with all AVA Synchronize products, AVA QA Pro integrates the latest data security technology and is accessible online. Each user is set up with an individual login account and password to upload and access the information area.
