AVA Multiview Picker. AVA 3.9 sees the introduction of an exciting new colour picker ‘AVA Multiview’. In it you will find new colour layouts enabling you to quickly locate the colour required. Also included is an important feature allowing limitation of previewed colours to the colour gamut of your monitor or printer. Also, all AVA pickers now produce synthetic reflectance data too.

New Filter Browser. The Filter Browser now allows multiple sets of filters to be saved, allowing your creativity to flow. Saved filter effects can be used with paint brushes and reapplied at any stage on the design. Custom filters can also very easily be saved and transferred between different stations, aiding a consistent work flow throughout your organisation.

New Distort Tool. The Distort tool has been completely re written and now features many enhancements to its ease of use and performance. You will notice the distortion uses curves rather than straight lines, making it smoother.

AVA Server. AVA now have full support for the Mimaki JV5. We also have a new server for Mac OSX printers

N-Channel Support In this release we are now able to handle profiles of up to 8 colours. We can automatically separate through an 8 colour profile, in order to accurately view and edit files ready for proofing.

Weave simulation. AVA 3.9 introduces a fabric simulation feature which creates a more three dimensional looking woven effect. Weave Simulation can be used with Dobby and Jacquard designs and can also simulate the use of fancy yarns within your designs. When used in conjunction with the new Filter browser finishing effects can be created too.

New Jigsaw Repeat method. This new method makes putting jigsaw files into repeat much more versatile and efficient. In the past, jigsaw repeats were limited by the overview window but now thsimpler and more effective.

PANTONE® Colour File Support. AVA is now able to supply colour files with data for the PANTONE® MATCHING SYSTEM and PANTONE® fashion and home colours, include full reflctance data for the PANTONE® colours.

AVA Synchronize. There are now AVA Synchronize modules for Online Materialize and Online Colouring. This allows you, your client, or your Sales team to re colour your designs online through a browser. Online Materialize allows you to see your designs instantly in a scene of your choice, making a very powerful sales tool.
