AVA Production Colour Profiling (PCP)

In today's competitive design market, producing collections rapidly is critical. How can you achieve a fast turn around with conventional bulk printing? The answer is by using AVA Production Colour Profiling (PCP) software so that your separated designs and digitally printed samples are based on simulations of conventional production ink recipes and substrates. AVA users really can view an accurate design representation on screen and know that this is what will be achieved in final production - What You See Is What You Get!

AVA PCP accurately combines data for production variables such as substrate, inks and printing method with the design data for a given job in order to provide a reliable digital production preview. Used in conjunction with AVA Quality Assurance and AVA Synchronize Colour the PCP software  can be used to generate multiple proofs in different locations and to check individual print runs against an established digital standard for the design.

By default, overprinting effects are simulated on screen and on your digital printer using one of several generic AVA's overprinting models. Depending on the complexity of your production, these generic overprinting models might not be appropriate so AVA offers a free PCP evaluation report to identify, based on objective numeric data, the potential for further improvement in your CAD to bulk production match through a customised overprinting model.
