Recruiting International Sales Executives
AVA CAD CAM is a leading supplier of CAD CAM technology and services to the global fashion, home furnishings, decorative and printed packaging industries. We have an established customer base of over 350 customers worldwide, including many famous brand names and high street stores. Due to recent successes, the company is implementing an ambitious growth strategy into new market sectors and new countries. We are looking to recruit two new Sales Executives to join our busy team, to help deliver the strategy and drive further success.
Working under the direct supervision of Senior Managers, the Sales Executives will be required to travel to national and international destinations to meet customers and deliver professional presentations. The Executives will be trained to use the AVA Software package and will be given tailor made Sales Training to help achieve their objectives. Frequent International travel will be a major part of your job.
Main tasks and duties:
• With the Sales Managers, help design, implement and review a successful sales strategy for your area
• Efficiently plan, coordinate, communicate and review delegated tasks from Managers
• Respond quickly and effectively to incoming sales enquiries
• Successfully manage a wide and diverse customer base, ensuring that both customer requirements are satisfied and service contracts are renewed
• Continually research new leads and market opportunities
• Qualify hot and cold leads
• Organise national and international sales trips for yourself and the Sales Managers, maximising time and opportunities
• Professionally demonstrate the AVA Products to the target market
• Close sales within key deadlines
• Attend up to 6 trade shows and trade seminars a year
• Closely learn and review the Competition
• Maintain travel budgets
• Work closely with Customer Services Team by helping to organise Training Trips and effectively communicating customer requirements
• Clearly communicate and justify customer requests and feedback to the R&D team
• Effectively manage your administration, time keeping and prioritisation of tasks
Skills and attributes required
The successful candidates will demonstrate some of the following skills and attributes:
• proven track record with B2B sales
• good presentation skills
• strong cold calling, appointment making and presentation skills are imperative
• excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
• ability to be empathise with customers
• strong negotiator with the ability to sell high value products & services
• experience of global sales
• ability to successfully sell across different cultures
• personable personality and strong relationship building skills
• ability to work under one's own initiative, therefore highly self motivated and confident
• a keen eye for Marketing excellence
• fluency in a second european language, arabic or mandarin would be a distinguishing skill
• Passport and driving licence are mandatory
You must have a keen interest in world travel, experiencing different cultures, design, technology and export sales. You will ideally have a 2:1 degree qualification or higher, although all high calibre candidates will be considered. Experience of CAD CAM software, the Textile, Decorative or Printing industry will also be an advantage. You must also be pro-Apple Mac and be skilled in convincing Windows users to switch to Apple Mac.
