AVA Production Colour

In today's competitive design market, producing collections rapidly is critical. How can you achieve a fast turn around with conventional bulk printing? The answer is by using AVA Production Colour Profiling (PCP) software so that your separated designs and digitally printed samples are based on simulations of conventional production ink recipes and substrates. AVA users really can view an accurate design representation on screen and know that this is what will be achieved in final production - What You See Is What You Get!

AVA PCP takes into account production variables (substrates, ink recipes, etc.) and creates a tonal database for use when colouring in AVA as well as a production profile. When used in conjunction with AVA Synchronize Colour, this provides you with the guarantee that your world-wide CAD operators are looking at identical digital proofs and know that these are achievable in conventional production.

By default, overprinting effects are simulated on screen and on your digital printer using one of several generic AVA's overprinting models. Depending on the complexity of your production, these generic overprinting models might not be appropriate so AVA offers a free PCP evaluation report to identify, based on objective numeric data, the potential for further improvement in your CAD to bulk production match through a customised overprinting model.
